The Barn Owl Collective Family

The Barn Owl Collective was created based on nothing but inspiration. The online store was founded by Monica and Ray Every in 2023. The store was inspired by their son, Reign, who was born with Cerebral Palsy. Ray and Monica decided to strive for something more to give their son a better future. Monica always had a knack for design and creativity. She wanted to apply her talent to products that would inspire people who wanted more out of life. Ray and Monica often discussed how they did not want to take anything for granted. Reign was born without the ability to walk and a very limited vocabulary. Even though Reign was born with disadvantages, he is a very happy and energetic child. He loves to laugh and learn. Ray and Monica are partners in life and in business. They were married in 2018. Ray earned his Master of Fine Arts degree for Creative Writing for Entertainment in 2022 from Full Sail University. Ray wanted to partner his love for writing with his wife's love for design. The couple often spent many nights discussing the brand they wanted to create. Monica loves animals and always had a particular interest in Owls. Owls are raptors, or birds of prey, that hunt. Like an Owl, Monica always had the ambition to hunt for success. She strives for perfection and excellence, which she wanted to incorporate in her t-shirts and accessories. Monica grew up as a painter alongside her father. Her painting skills are what initially sparked her passion for design. Ray and Monica currently reside in North Carolina where they run and operate their business. Their dream is to start a foundation for special needs children and a foundation for rescue animals. When you make a purchase with The Barn Owl Collective, you are helping make that dream a reality.
